[Free] How to use Vital of Vital Audio 1 (Modulation XNUMX)
Click here for articles related to Vital (how to use, free presets, etc.).
This time I will explain about modulation, but I would like to divide it into three parts.
Please note that there is no Manual yet, so it will be a groping.
The first time, I will explain about ENV (envelope).
How to use Vital's ENV (envelope)
There are two main ways to use ENV (hereafter, envelope).
-Envelope as modulation
Envelope as ADSR
Like Serum, "ENV1" is assigned to all oscillators from the beginning.
This is set so that the sound will sound properly without any special settings.
Therefore, when editing a tone, unless there is a special reason, "ENV1" is considered for ADSR, and when modulating parameters, it is better to use "ENV2" and "ENV3" to create the desired sound. ..
I'm writing about ADSR everywhere, so I'll fold it.
Envelope as modulation
Let's apply modulation using "ENV2".
I will try to move a general WaveTable.
First, start from the "init" state.
To return to "init", click "Initialize Preset" from the upper right corner.
First, change to WaveTable.
The "init" waveform is a single cycle, so it is not a WaveTable.
Click on the top of the waveform to load the WaveTable.
Then drag and drop "ENV2" near the top of the waveform.
I prepared a video.
The same is true for Srum etc., but when modulating, decide whether to modulate to + or-.
In the case of Vital, you can move it by dragging the purple circle.
The default values of the parameters are very important when modulating.
In this case, it is the position of WaveTable.
The white part on the far right. (You can move WaveTable by dragging up and down)
I prepared a video.
You can modulate anywhere you can drag in the same way, so please try various things.
I edited it a little.
[Free] How to use Vital of Vital Audio 1 (Modulation XNUMX) Summary
It's an easy-to-use synth and the effects are pretty good.
It's really too free with this.
If you add WaveTable, you can make a pounding tone.
Next time I'm planning an LFO, but it may be a little different.
