Introduction of synth sound source SyncSawSynth using Uhhyou's PTR oscillator
Today I would like to introduce a slightly unusual synth, SyncSawSynth.
It is the same Japanese developer (ryukau) who introduced FDN64Reverb.
In terms of sound alone, it feels like a Lo-Fi system.
Contrary to the Lo-Fi sound, it uses a technology called PTR that makes it difficult for aliases to occur when hard synced.

Since the technology itself was announced in 2012, it may be used by major companies just by not saying that it is fully used.
I tried playing the preset.
Overview
SyncSawSynth is a synthesizer with a PTR sawtooth wave oscillator up to 10th order. PTR stands for polynomial transition regions and is a technique for suppressing aliasing.As the name suggests, it is hard synced.
・Equipped with two PTR sawtooth wave oscillators of 0 to 10th order.
・Sin can also be used.However, sin's hardsync cannot suppress aliases.
・Three types of hard sync can be selected.The tone is Ratio only.
- Phase control.You can create a phase-inverted square wave.
・Frequency modulation can be performed between two oscillators.Become a noise musician in an instant.
・Equipped with three frequency modulations: AD envelope, sin LFO, and pink noise generator. The AD Envelope uses the equation (t^a * exp(-b * t)).
• Exponential ADSR envelope with saturated output gain at tanh.
・Equipped with a filter with feedback that connects four RBJ biquads in series.Low pass, high pass, band pass and notch are available.
・Four types of filter feedback saturation
・A linear ADSR envelope is used for filter cutoff and resonance.The output of the filter envelope is logarithmically mapped to the cutoff frequency.

- Version 0.1.3 has some optimizations, but it's still a bit slow. Reduced the maximum number of voices to reduce CPU consumption.

Installation
I think that it is unnecessary because there is a Japanese explanation, but I will write it for the time being.
When you unzip it, the VST3 files are stored separately for each OS under "Contents".
It is OK if you store the files in the folder in the VST3 folder.

It's nice to get sounds that other synths don't produce.
