Recommended usage of Frozenplain's Mirage (Music Box Suite Free)
I'm yosi, the caretaker.
It's easy to use and the sound is pretty good.
I think it's my job to spread these good plugins properly, so here are some recommended ways to use them.
"Mirage" is the name of the engine part of the sampler.Music Box Suite FreeIs the name of the sound source library.
For the time being, I tried playing the preset.
The good points of "Mirage" that I decided on my own are as follows.
・ Mirage can make reverse sound
・ The IR installed in Mirage is unique and the effect is interesting.
I will explain this area.
Mirage is easy to edit
It's pretty easy to edit.
I improvised and edited it.
It's really easy to use.
If you know Kontakt etc., you can understand it, but if you try to edit it yourself, you can't do it intuitively. (The degree of freedom is high)
However, "Mirage" shows only the important parameters that can be changed, so it is easy to edit. (Instead, the degree of freedom is low)
"Mirage" consists of three layers.
You can load tones from the library on each layer.
(Currently, the only free library is Music Box Suite Free)
PhoenixSomething is $ 35, so if it gets cheaper on sale, I might aim for it.
(Although it's cheap enough for $ 35 ...)
You can change the settings of each layer on the tab.
All the parameters are basically the same as synths, so I will omit the explanation.
Mirage can make reverse sounds
Personally, I like this because it's easy to use and I can make usable sounds.
I edited it a little.
You can really edit it and get the idea you want, or you can easily put the idea into shape.
The GUI is simple, but the design is really well thought out.
(I want the EQ and LFO to be graphic too)
The reverse parameter is "REVERSE" on the "LOOP" tab.
You can also adjust the tempo of the song by simply turning it "ON" and adjusting the start position with "START".

What I personally found interesting was the effect "Convlution". (In short, IR)
I took a video.
It's more like adding sound effects than reverb.
I tried to make a little sound, but it's fun.

It is a really easy-to-use and good sampler.
I don't think it's a multi-sample, but the sound quality isn't bad either.
Currently there is only one free library, but let's expect it to increase in the future.
(If many people use it, the developers will surely increase the free library.)
