How to make a multi-band Gross Beat with Patcher in FL Studio XNUMX

I'm yosi, the caretaker of Chillout with Beats.

Actually, it was planned to be done only once, but after researching various things, I found a way to improve usability, so I will write an additional article.

The previous article is here.

With knobs, it's quite difficult to open the same Gross Beat presets in real time.

There are random elements, good or bad.

Therefore, let's select the Gross Beat preset by number.

Change Surface Knob to Digits

There is something called "Digits" on the Surface of Patcher.

I think you are familiar with it because it is used in each parameter setting of FL Studio.

This is available in Patcher.

First, change "Knob" to "Digits".

It's a hassle, but you need to delete it and recreate it.

However, it doesn't work as expected unless I set the minimum value, maximum value, and number of steps properly.

We also prepared a GIF video.

Correct the label.

Connect to GrossBeat's Time Slot.

Let's check the operation as well.

Properly 36 will select the last slot.

I did it in Time Slot, but of course you can also do it in Volume Slot.

How to make a multi-band Gross Beat with FL Studio Patcher XNUMX Summary

It's much easier and better to select with Digits.

I think it can also be used for real-time performance.

I would like to explore the possibilities of multi-band Gross Beat a little more.
