Introducing Flower inspired by the FL Studio Patcher preset Trakspacer

I'm yosi, the caretaker.

I don't know if it's a cold or corona, but I'm sick.

I will refrain from going out and just sleep at home.

That's why it's a little simple article.

This article will be sent with the following contents.

Overview and usage of Flower

The GUI is also nice.

Flower overview

A patcher preset used to bring out more vocals (or other sounds) in your mix, using sidechain inputs that control each frequency band in Parametric EQ2.

It's similar to the dynamic EQ introduced earlier, but with a dynamic EQ you have to set the frequency yourself, but "Flower" is the target frequency at which the frequency of the sidechain input is attenuated.

Therefore, it is very convenient to avoid wearing.

I put "Flower" on the Bass track so that I can ducking the Drum with sidechain input.
(Since there was no sound, I replaced it.)

How to download Flower

"Flower" is a FL Studio form uploaded by Kore-G.

Please access the FL Studio form from the link below and download it.

You can download it by clicking "flower by Kore-G.fst" at the transition destination of the link.

How to use Flower

Once downloaded, you can insert the file by dragging and dropping it into the mixer you want to insert.
(Double-click to insert into the master)

Mixer XNUMX or later is preferred as it uses sidechain inputs.

Here, I will explain by inserting it into "Mixer XNUMX".

First, insert "Flower" into "Mixer XNUMX".

Next, with "Mixer XNUMX" selected, click ▼ of "Mixer XNUMX" and click "Sidechain to this track".

I also prepared a GIF video.

Then open "Flower" and click "Map".

Right-click on "From FL Studio" and click "Output"-> "Audio"-> "Insert 2".

Connect the red circle and you're done.

I also prepared a GIF video.

After that, put the sound to be ducked in track XNUMX and put the sound you want to stand out in track XNUMX.

You can see the effect well by trying it with an instrument or vocal that covers the frequency band.

A brief explanation of Flower's operation

I will briefly explain the mechanism.

First, EQ2 divides it into XNUMX bands as shown below.

Each out is connected to a "Peak controller".

And it is connected to the last EQ level, and the EQ level changes according to the input of each frequency.

The mechanism is simple, but it seems that the part to adjust using "Fruity fomula controller" to match the value is difficult.

Introducing Flower inspired by the FL Studio Patcher preset Trakspacer

As expected, Trakspacer is a 32 band EQ, so it's not exactly the same, but it's great to be able to use it for free.

I think it will come in handy because it hangs more naturally than the side chain.
