Various upgrades to Celemony Melodyne 5 are on sale.
New is no sale.
It doesn't sell very much, so don't miss it if you handle vocals.
Since the last sale was in November 2022, the sale is mostly about once a year.
When purchasing an upgrade
Essential comes as a bundle of various software, so I think many people have it.
For most people, upgrading to Assistant should be sufficient.

Feature comparison of each edition
The differences between the editions are as follows.Officially explained in detailIt is done.
If you only use plugins, you can use Assistant.
Basically, you can do all vocal editing, and you can also quantize according to audio MIDI and scale with Assistant.
Things you can't do mainly with Assistant
Multitrack editing (Studio only)
It is a function that allows you to load multiple tracks into Studio itself and edit them.
Can only be used standalone.
Sound editor (Studio only)
I think this should be considered by those who handle vocals. (The demo version is full and full of features)
It can be edited quite finely, it can be adjusted a little, and it can be changed to a completely different sound.
You can control the overtones, change the EQ processing, formants, etc. in detail.
Scale editing (Editor and Studio only)
I think most people don't use it.
The scales are registered quite a bit from the beginning, but I think you should judge whether you need to edit them or not.
Scale detection (Editor and Studio only)
The scale can be detected and applied.
To be honest, I don't think I usually use this function either.
I think it's about to be used with musical instruments that have a unique scale.
