Staying true to their style, the Zynaptiq team has an excellent formant shifter, a filter bank release/reverb called TRACES, HF thru and unvoiced synthesis, an expander keyed to the plug-in input, and zero in two modes. ORANGE VOCODER IV features a 64-voice synth with hundreds of presets and a preset generator to create new sounds at the click of a button.This synth can be used as a vocoder input, layered with other modules, or on its own.
The two oscillators can use analog emulation waveforms and sampled vintage digital waveforms, with 2 types of ring modulation, hard sync, thru-zero FM, and 2 types of polyphonic distortion.These are fed into a 7-6dB lowpass filter with beautiful resonance.Comprehensive modulation options include mono/polyphonic LFO (oscillators are audio rate capable), AD envelope, envelope follower, zero cross tracker, velocity and 24 destination macro controls.It also supports unison operation of up to 4 tones, DETUNE, CLUSTER mode, and monaural legato with glide, allowing you to specify the notes to be played on the synth or on-screen keyboard via MIDI.

ORANGE VOCODER IV features a pitch quantizer that forces the input signal to a specific pitch and can be used in parallel with or in place of the vocoder. With 5 modes: QUANTIZE, SCALE, NOTE, ENFORE and POLYFORCE, it allows for flexible and wide range of sound options. ENFORCE and POLYFORCE take a wavetable-inspired approach and feature zero-latency processing suitable for live performance.The pitch quantizer is so easy to use, just switch it on, choose an algorithm, and control it with the same notes as the synth (with mono legato and glide, of course).

The FREEZER module can freeze audio input to the plug-in and sustain the current timbre indefinitely when you click its big snowflake button.It's placed before the Pitch Quantizer module, so you can play melodies with it.Freeze buffers can be loaded and saved, and color libraries can be built.

Exclude modules from dice rolls, choose musical or SFX sounds (or both), use factory sub-presets or your own (or both) ) can be selected. DICE is context-aware, so if you're in a view of a synth, it will only roll the synth.
