Overview of Boogex
Boogex is a free guitar amplifier AudioUnit, AAX, VST plug-in with various sound shaping features, suitable for professional sound and music production applications. With Boogex, you can get heavy distortion sounds and slightly "jazzy" saturation sounds. Boogex can also apply the impulse response of the speaker cabinet (with a choice of built-in impulses).The processing latency is infinitely close to zero, and Boogex can be used for real-time guitar processing.
Boogex also has an input gate module and a reverb module derived from the Voxengo OldSkoolVerb reverb plugin.
Boogex produces a "minimal" rock music-like sound, but with higher overdrive settings it's a bit more noisy.The built-in Emphasis EQ makes it easy to suppress high frequencies.
Boogex can also be used as a mere stereo convolution processor by turning off the “Amp” stage.The convolution module has zero latency and does not require a CPU.Currently, the amp mode provided by Boogex is not particularly suitable for metal music, but it can be used as a cabinet impulse response processor for metal music.

Change GUI color
Click the icon at the top of the screen.
Change from "UI colors" of "Boogex Settings" on the right side.
It's a little hard to see, but Black is cool.
"GRAY BLUE" is good if visibility is prioritized.
How to read an external IR
When you open "File" of "Cabinet Sim / Convolver", the file selection screen opens, so you can load an external IR by selecting IR.
How to read a stereo IR
You can change to stereo mode by turning off "AMP".
