Introducing ToneBoosters Legacy Plugin TB_Ferox_v3
Today, I would like to introduce ToneBoosters' legacy plug-ins individually by digging a little deeper.
After all recommendation is "TB_Ferox_v3".
I searched on Twitter and Google, but it's hardly talked about.
It's such a good plugin.
That's why I wanted many people to use it again, so I wrote an article.
Sound demo
I tried playing the preset.
I tried moving the parameters a little while matching the gain.
I touched on various things again this time, but I can not synchronize BPM, but the delay when feedback is raised is also good.
Overview
Despite all the advantages of digital audio processing and recording (low noise, high dynamic range, virtually flat frequency response, low distortion), it can be difficult to get that fuzzy vintage warmth. That's where TB Ferox comes in.Simulates smooth compression and saturation reminiscent of the good old days of tape recording.
Features
- Zero-latency processing lets you use it in the studio or live.
- Precise control of tape recording level and tape character.
- An analog-style VU meter that lets you visually check the recording level.
- Selectable low complexity or high quality oversampling modes.
- Supports all sampling rates from 22 to 192 kHz
- Compliant with VST 2.4 specification allowing compatibility with almost any host program
