VST2/AudioUnit plugin* for Neural Amp Modeler built with iPlug3.

System requirements

The Neural Amp Modeler plugin currently supports Windows 10 (64bit) and above, macOS 10.15 (Catalina) and above.

For Linux support, an LV2 plugin is available (https://github.com/mikeoliphant/neural-amp-modeler-lv2).

This is a cleaned up version of the original iPlug2 based NAM plugin with some refactorings to adopt better practices recommended by the iPlug2 developers. (Thanks Oli for your generous suggestions!).

You can download it without registration.

Go to the above link and click the latest release link from "Assets" at the top.

Installation

For Win, when you unzip the downloaded file, there is an installer inside, so run it.

A basic default install is fine.

The choice is whether or not you need a standalone, and if you don't need it, uncheck the red box below.

The "NeuralAmpModeler" plug-in alone is completely useless.

It works only after loading a model or IR.

Go to the above link and click the download icon to start downloading.

Unzip the downloaded file and store it in an easily accessible location.

There are two file types.

"MODEL" is the extension ".nam" and "IR" is ".wav".
