Future Audio Workshop (hereinafter FAW)Free expansion pack for SubLab usersHas been released, so I will write the installation method.
(Because it is an expansion pack that collects presets from existing expansion packs, I think that users who already have all expansion packs are not needed)

This is the same procedure if you purchased FAW's expansion pack.

Then I will explain it immediately.

How to install SubLab extended sound source

First, unzip the downloaded extended sound source.
(It is easier to unzip it on your desktop)

Launch SubLab and click on the Preset Browser.

Click the red frame in the figure below.

2021 12 30 15x23 02

A dialog for selecting a file will be displayed. Select "Best-Of-Sublab.subpack" in the unzipped folder and click "Open".

2021 12 30 15x23 43

This completes the additional work.

The added extended sound source is the pack name "Best Of sublab".

Summary

It's a little difficult to understand how to add it.

Personally, I think it's easy for users to manage it freely by just putting it in the folder used by Serum etc.

Thank you for your support this year.It is very helpful for me to be motivated and efficient!

On a different note, what happened to Captain Plugins EPIC? w
It was 2022 Early on instagram, and the email was in December this year, so when?I was waiting, but this seems impossible ... w
If the schedule seems to be tight, I should have said December by email, but w

Also, Bitwig was the best.It has completely replaced the main DAW.Of course, there are no Ableton MIDI Sync bugs. PDC was perfect.
I was only worried about the compatibility with the gain match plug-in, but I was able to set it so that gain match could be done simply by creating a container and throwing the plug-in into it.
There is a button modulator in the genuine modulator for bypass while maintaining the desired volume at the time of gain match, so if you devise mute or dry wet, you can do various things with one click and improve efficiency.
You can also combine the original signal with the inverted one and output only the difference with one click. This is impossible with Live (it is difficult to explain that it is a sentence around here)
After that, the functions around bounce are terrible. There is a hybrid track that can be used for both audio and MIDI.
You can also insert multiple VST Instruments in series on a track, so you only need one track when using MIDI plug-ins such as Cthulhu and Captain Melody.
It's quite convenient. In some cases it's more convenient to route, but Captain Melody wants to change the settings for each tone, so the tracks don't get messed up at that time.
The only difficulty is that if you haven't used Ableton Live, it will take some time to get used to it, so if you feel like it, I'm thinking of making a tutorial video of Bitwig.

By the way, the No. 1 I bought this year was Soothe2 and the No. 2 was Bitwig. I'm interested if yosi's 2021 ranking is available, so I'd like to see it in the article.

It's been a long time, but I look forward to working with you next year!

The new year has passed, but thank you for your comment.

I'm still working on it, so I'll reply to comments later.

Thank you very much for last year.
I got a lot of information and it was a good motivation.
Thank you for your continued support this year.

      Sorry for my late reply.

The work has finally come to an end.

On a different note, what happened to Captain Plugins EPIC? w

      What happened really?
I saw "few weeks" until the release, so I expected it to come out in December.
      Did you find something fatal?
      I patiently wait.

      I see-Is Bitwig great?
It's good that the PDC works well ~

The PDC problem is quite troublesome.
If you go ahead without noticing that it is a plug-in with low latency and you notice it later, it seems that rework will occur quite a bit.

Somehow, when I listen to the story, it feels like adding FL Studio and Live and dividing by two.

That's exactly why FL Studio is so good and I like it.
(FL Studio doesn't have the concept of tracks and can be assigned freely, so I think many people will be here?)

If you can do it with Bitwig, I wonder if there is an option to make the main Bitwig and sub FL.

The only difficulty is that if you haven't used Ableton Live, it will take some time to get used to it, so if you feel like it, I'm thinking of making a tutorial video of Bitwig.

There is not much Japanese information on Bitwig, so please do not hesitate to contact us.

Is Soothe2 good? I passed through this year, so maybe next year ...
However, there are many plugins that I haven't mastered, so I'll try to learn them while writing articles.

I was planning to write an article about my personal ranking, so I will write it later.
In my case, it's closer to the sound source.

I forgot to say it.I did some research on Bitwig, so I knew what I could do and what I wanted to do, but there were some surprising features.

It's a preset browser, but at first glance it's a function that seems to be natural for DAWs that handle presets, but it recognizes the preset folder of Koitsu Serum and can automatically call it from Bitwig's preset browser.
What's amazing about this is that Bitwig's preset browser can use a search filter, so if you enter Bass or something, you can filter with Bass.

If you select it, you can listen to the preset, so
Filter with Bass → Select appropriately → Listen while switching presets with the up and down keys
It was very convenient to be able to do it.I'm not sure about the function that this preset is automatically converted, but I couldn't do it with SPIRE.
However, since it is made with Serum, I feel that there is a way.I'll look it up later or email it officially.

I was really surprised that the preset switching was a non-stress feature that I didn't expect.

      I love these features w

It would be super convenient if you could search for presets with Sylenth 1.
However, that author doesn't update at all ...
It is unique because it is light and the sound comes out on the entire surface, but it is quite inefficient if the preset browser is not installed.

Let's try the demo version of Bitwig.
