[Free] TR-808 developers release VST808 version of RC-3
I'm yosi, the caretaker.
The standalone version of RC-8 was released on August 8th last year and became a hot topic.
I used it a little and the sound was great, but I didn't use it at all because it was standalone and difficult to use.
However, the VST8 version was released on August 8th of this year!
To put it simply, the hurdle for editing is too high.
The average person is clean and enjoy with presets.
So, this article will be sent with the following contents.
・ How to load presets
Explanation of download and installation method
First of all, download.
How to download and install
You can download it from the official page.
Scroll the screen and download the file that matches your OS at the bottom.
After unzipping, put "RC-808-PLG.vst0.1.3" in "RC-808-PlugIn Ver 3 WIN" into the VST3 folder.
For Windows, the path is as follows.
After that, you can use it by starting the plug-in from your DAW.
How to load presets
At startup, it makes a rather jarring sound, so turn down the volume.
Load the preset.
There are presets in the folder starting with "Date" that was in the unzipped folder.
Click "File"-> "Import" from the "RC-808" menu to open the file with the extension ".allprm" from the previous folder.
This will load the preset.

But to be clear, it's pretty tough to say that it can be used as a kit.
If you are using FL Studio, it is easier to use your favorite Kick etc. as Wav with Edison etc.

I cut the first part of the video.
Also, since that sound is the default sound at startup, I added to lower the volume at startup.
