Introducing Psychocircuitry's FET Comp Plug-in A-TEK FET-162
Psychocircuitry has released a new FET compression plug-in, A-TEK FET-162.
This is my second FET comp.
A-TEK FET-162 has a different character from MINI FET and is suitable for actively creating sounds.
This is a low-priced version of the paid version A-TEK FET-162X ($59 > $39) and A-TEK FET-162+ ($29 > $19).
Sound demo
If you apply it a little harder, it will produce a rougher sound.
This rough feeling is very good.
This rough distortion can be adjusted with the "FET DRIVE" parameter.
Overview
Inspired by mid-'60s channel limiters, the FET-162 gives you a different kind of FET character.
Plus version mini model. 16 timing combinations, stereo/mono operation, up to 16x oversampling, and fully resizable GUI.
Compatible with Windows 10/11(x64) & MacOS BigSur+*.
