Introducing Tunefish 4, Brain Control's additive synthesis synth sound source
It's a little old today, but I'd like to introduce Tunefish 4, an additive synthesis synth sound source from Brain Control.
The additive synthesis method is less if it is free.
Another advantage of this synth is the ease of editing.
In the case of the additive synthesis method, sounds are generally created by dragging a sine wave as shown below.
However, Tunefish 4 is devised so that you can edit with a small number of parameters.
You can't make fine adjustments, but I think you'll be able to enjoy it as long as you don't overdo it.

I played the preset and did some editing.
Intuitive operation changes the sound, so you can create a variety of tones just by adjusting the parameters appropriately.
Overview
Tunefish 4 was developed as a smaller replacement with almost the same power as Tunefish 3, but is not compatible and uses a different synthesis algorithm.Developed for demoscene group Brain Control's 64k intro "Turtles all the way down" and available as VST/AU.
Features
The UI has been improved since TF3 to make all modulations visible.
Using an additive synthesis based wavetable generator.
A noise generator can generate noise of any frequency in any bandwidth.
Lowpass, highpass, bandpass and improved notch filters are available.
The 2 ADSRs and 2 LFOs can be linked to pretty important knobs using the modulation matrix.
Supported effects are Flanger, Chorus, Distortion, Delay, Reverb, EQ and Formants.
Effect stacks can be freely permuted with up to 10 different effects.

Win users can download basic VST3.
Installation
In the case of Win, unzip the downloaded file and put "Tunefish4.vst3" in the folder in the following Path.
C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ VST3
Summary
It sounds good~
The sound is slightly different from the subtraction method, and the treble is characteristic.
Easy to edit is also a plus point.
There has not been an update since 2018, so I would be happy if it was updated again.
