Introducing EnveLover, a plug-in that can trigger ADSR via MIDI.

EnveLover is the developer who created the easy-to-read oscilloscope plug-in Wave Observer.

You can easily do something like this.

It can also be used like ducking.

Overview

EnveLover is a unique MIDI-controlled audiogate effect. You will be able to trigger the dynamics processor with MIDI signals, which will speed up your music workflow. You can play it on your keyboard or drum pads, just as you would play a digital instrument.A variety of envelope settings and visualizations give you precise control over your sound.

Main functions

MIDI-controlled audio gate effect
-Analog and digital style envelope models
・ Finely control the settings of important envelopes
・ Supports velocity and after-touch
・ Inverse mode (compressor mode) for dynamic gain reduction
・ Visualization of envelope signal

Available formats

-Windows VST and VST3 (64-bit version, Windows 7 or later required)
-MacOS VST and VST3, AU (64-bit, Mac OS X 10.7 or later required, Catalina or higher not supported)

I think ADSR is familiar to those who edit synths, but those who do not use synths will find it easier to understand if you imagine the ducking and sidechain effects.

ADSR stands for Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release, and can create volume changes.

The synth looks like the following.

Ducking looks like the following.

EnveLover can be triggered by MIDI, just like synths and Ducks.

And since Enve Lover can automate ADSR, it is possible to gradually extend the decay and release in the song.

Synths usually can't apply ADSR to external audio, and ducking effects can't automate parameters like ADSR.

Download

No special registration is required to download.

You can download it by transitioning from the above link and clicking the link of the corresponding OS.

Summary

ADSR and ducking can be done with SerumFx, but a light and simple GUI is also good.

If the purpose is fixed, it is better not to display unnecessary parameters.

I have written quite a few articles about SerumFx, so please check it out as well.
