Introducing Retornz's ToneZ V2, a synth sound source with oscillator morphing
Today I would like to introduce ToneZ V2, a synthesizer sound source that contains many tones suitable for Trance and EDM that I thought I wrote about but didn't.
It has over 100 built-in presets, and many of the sounds are easy to use, so it's a good idea to have if you mainly use free plug-ins.
You can choose between two waveforms for the oscillator, but it's also nice to be able to morph.
The only disappointing thing isVST3 versionis that it cannot be used with FL Studio and Reaper.
(I'm sure it will be fixed, but VST3 doesn't work with FL Studio at the moment. VST2 is fine)
Sound demo
I tried playing a Lead type preset.
I tried playing a Pluck type preset.
Overview
ToneZ is a free polyphonic synthesizer available as a VST/AU plugin for Windows and Mac OS.
With modern UI, it will become your new best friend for super saws, leads, bases, plucks, etc.
format
OS | 32bit | 64bit |
---|---|---|
mac | x | AU, VST2, VST3 |
Win | x | VST2, VST3 |
Download
You can download it without registration.
Go to the above link and click "DOWNLOAD".
Click the appropriate OS button to start the download.
Installation
When you unzip the downloaded file, an installer will appear, so run it.
There are VST2 and VST3, but those who use FL Studio and Reaper should install VST2.
I tried the VST3 version in FL Studio, but it froze the moment I started it.
VST2 will not be recognized by the DAW unless you specify the correct path on the screen below during installation.
The path for VST2 varies depending on the person.
Most VST2 folders are one of the following:
C:Program FilesVSTPlugIns
C \ Program Files \ Steinberg \ VST Plugins
C \ Program Files \ Steinberg \ Cubase \ VSTPlugins
C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ VST2
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\VST2
FL Studio and Reaper users should install only VST2 by selecting the format.
ToneZ also comes with 8 preset packs available for free.
It's at the bottom of the screen.
