[Free] Introducing AudioGridder, a system that can load balance DAWs

I don't think there is much demand, but I'm interested, so I tried it.
What AudioGridder is is to reduce the load on the PC (client) running the DAW by running VST on another PC (server) on the network.
VST2, VST3 and AudioUnit (Mac only) are available for PC, Mac and Linux.
Since it is on the network, if you connect with VPN, you can do it regardless of the distance, but the latency will increase, so the usage is limited.

AudioGridder setup instructions
To use AudioGridder, two or more PCs and those PCs must be on the same network.
I think the usage is case by case.
Here, we will explain using a notebook PC as a client and a desktop PC as a server.
If you connect to a VPN, it is possible to process on your desktop PC at home from outside. (Currently, there are network speed issues, but it may become a reality as 5G spreads.)
Desktop PC (server) settings
FirstAudio GridderDownload.
Install "AudioGridderServer_1.1-beta7.exe".
(Please read the version etc.)
Start "AudioGridder Server" from the start.
The plug-in scan runs endlessly at the first startup, so leave it for the time being.
It took more than an hour at home.
(It takes a lot of time if UAD is included, so it's best to do it before going to bed)
During this time, it is good to check the IP and install the client side.
First, check the IP address.
Win Win While holding down the key r Press the key.
The following dialog will be displayed, so ""
Type cmd and click OK.
At the command prompt, type "ipconfig".
Make a note of the following parts.
When the scan is finished, nothing is displayed and the icon is resident on the taskbar.

Scan with your DAW.
The name "AGridder" is recognized by both "Inst" and "Effect".
First, load it as "Inst".
For the first time, "not connected" will be displayed to the following people, so set it.
Click the icon below.
Click "Add".
A dialog will be displayed, so enter the IP address you found earlier.
(The IP you are entering here is my environment and I think it will be different in most cases)
When connected, the following display will be displayed.
If you cannot connect, turn off the firewall and isolate it.
It feels like I've used it, but it has less latency than I expected.
However, it may be heavier if you use more than one.

It moves quite smoothly and I am surprised.
The notebook was Wi-Fi, but it worked normally.
It may be more comfortable if you use a direct connection or use a NIC of 1Gbps or more.
I think I'll go into this area a little more and investigate.
If the LAN cable is 1 Gbps or less, only the error level is different for category 5e or more.
Don't believe it because you can see the description that the higher the category is, the better it is to make the net faster.
