Introducing Ibiskus, a sound source made by sampling 5 rare flutes from Zaksound

Today I would like to introduce Ibiskus, a sound source made by sampling 5 types of rare flutes newly released by Zaksound.

Sound demo

There are 11 Pad-type presets and 12 short one-shot-type presets.

Pad sounds have a slow attack and are comfortable, so they are suitable for slow songs and ambient sounds.

I tried to ring it.

I added some drums.

I also tried playing the one-shot system.

There are few scales that can be used for one-shots, so be careful.

Overview

Ibiskus is a plug-in that transforms 5 unusual wind instruments into 23 creative sounds, perfect for genres like lo-fi and ambient/cinematic music.

ibiscus ideas
The inspiration for Ibiskus came when I chanced upon a set of five unique wind instruments at a local market.I thought it would be a great idea to make a virtual instrument out of these rare samples. We bought these instruments and experimented with each one, including unfamiliar instruments like the slide whistle.

Through many experiments and recordings, we created 23 different sounds. They were divided into two categories: short and endless.

The 'Short' preset is a staccato recording of the instrument and is great for lo-fi/alternative music genres or if you're just looking for flute, seek and slide whistle sounds. The “endless” preset, on the other hand, loops long notes to create an infinite sound, perfect for ambient and cinematic genres.

Summary

All of the Pad series have good tones and can be adjusted for attack, making them easy to use.

However, I felt that the one-shot was a little difficult to use because the sampling was short and there were few scales that could be used.
