Free distribution of Arctic as a Christmas gift from AcusticaAudio! !
Plug-ins are distributed free of charge from AcusticaAudio this year as well.
This is amazing again!
Arctic is described as a "mix bus tool", but it's like a compressor, limiter, and saturator all in one, so I think you can use it for anything.
It is especially compatible with drums.
Sound demo
Arctic seems to be able to morph the compressor, limiter and saturator, and the sound changes considerably depending on the degree of morphing.
I hung it on the drum.
Gain match.
Plug-ins "ARCTIC" and "ARCTICZL" will be installed.
This difference is latency.
"ARCTICZL” means zero latency.
(However, there will be some (2 samples) latency.)
Overview
Started free distribution of all-in-one mix bus tool
Every year, at Christmas, we have presents to surprise our loyal users. This year is no exception and welcome the Arctic warmly. This all-new 'Frankenstein' tool fuses three different processes to give you a powerful 'all-in-one' mix bus plug-in that takes just a few movements to get the sound you want.
3 processes, less controls
Arctic is a revolutionary Multi FX Acqua plugin (VST/VST1/AAX/AU) that combines a compressor (COMP), limiter (LIM) and distortion (SAT) into one tool for your DAW. It's ready. From smooth compression to hard limiters to extreme overdrive, Arctic lets you find the perfect treatment for your mix anywhere and makes your life a lot easier.
Plugin GUI
Mix faster and sound better
We've taken the best of three processes and combined them into one ultra-lightweight CPU plugin based on Acustica's new high-performance Hyper technology.
fluid morphing
A single 'Morph' slider gives you an instant understanding of how the three processes are controlled, while the 'Fine Tuning' control is for more precise and detailed settings. For homogenous sound and 'global' processing, it doesn't get any simpler or more straightforward than this.
Note
Arctic's compressors are capable of operating two detector circuits simultaneously.
The first, a peak detector, features fast attack and release times to maintain and manage transients.
The second detector is derived from a slow compressor characterized by an RMS-type detector, with a natural yet smooth behavior.
Arctic is our first product with shape modulation for both the attack time constant (SHMOD) and release time constant (MORPH), and is "invisibly" embedded within the morphing control (MORPH). is.It features very low latency, very low aliasing and minimal distortion.

Summary
No, that's great free shipping.
It feels like AcusticaAudio's technical level is rising.
I feel that the CPU load is lower than before, and the movement of the knobs has become smoother.
(Since the load is a new PC, it's just a feeling)
I have to check out AcusticaAudio's recent paid plug-ins as well.
