Introducing YS – Velvet Box with two types of clippers: hard and soft by Yuri Semenov
Yuri Semenov has released a new plugin, YS – Velvet Box, so we would like to introduce it to you.
YS – Velvet Box is a plug-in similar to a channel strip that includes a compressor, expander, EQ, clipper, etc.

Overview
A compact sound processing plug-in that can be used on the master bus or on individual tracks.
Although it is a small “box”, it has many functions.
Soft clipper with threshold 0-6dB and hard peak limiter with -0,01dB,
FLUX - Creates slight differences between the left and right channels randomly depending on the tempo of your project, eliminating a static feel.
Expander-Expander works with both negative and positive values.
6-band EQ that allows you to adjust a wide range of frequencies.A “shelf” style low frequency suppressor with adjustable slope bass and treble “shelf” and four “bell” selection buttons to fix frequency and volume values.
XFRM_Odd Harmonics, Hi Cut button only lowers the high frequencies of both types of saturated harmonics. TUBE even harmonics, by default only one harmonic #1 is added, clicking the button will add harmonic #2.Noise is not added statically, but dynamically from the signal strength, and white noise and pink noise can be adjusted separately.
There are two types of volume meters: VU and LUFS.
There are two versions of this plugin: Mono and Two Mono. 2 Mono operates in stereo mode, two independent adjustable channel modes, and midside mode.

Click "Download as is"
This will start the download.
Installation
In the case of Win, when you unzip the downloaded file, you will find VST2 and VST3 compressed files.
Basically, unzip VST3 (YS – Velvet BOX_v 1.0_WIN_VST3 x64 (Yuri Semenov).zip).
When you unzip it, two folders will appear.
If you put this in the VST3 folder, the installation is complete.
C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ VST3
(m) is the monaural version.

I may have written this before, butSynthEditIt's made of, isn't it?
A while ago, plug-ins made with SynthEdit looked ugly and had poor sound quality.
However, recently, plug-ins have come out that have high quality sound, although you can't really tell by looking at them, perhaps due to updates on the SynthEdit side.
It has already reached a quality that cannot be underestimated just because it is made by SynthEdit.
I once again feel that we are living in an era where musicians and engineers can create their own plug-ins even if they can't write code.
