[Free] Introducing StudioRack, which also supports reading VST3 of Waves

Today I would like to introduce Waves' StudioRack, which was just updated the other day.

I had tried StudioRack before, but it didn't recognize it unless I had the latest version of the Waves plug-in, so I didn't use it at all.

This version also doesn't recognize Waves plug-ins after V13, so it's not good in that respect. It became possible to load VST3.

There is also an AU version, so it seems that Mac users can use VST3 with Logic.

Moreover, it has a splitter function and a multiband function, so if it is a plug-in that supports VST3, it can be multibanded.

That's why Kilohearts Essentials, which I introduced the other day, can be very useful.

Sound demo

The search is super convenient, for example, if you enter "kilo", Kilohearts' plug-ins are displayed in a row.

It's crisp and comfortable.

I tried using Kilohearts' plug-in with multiband.

Overview

Create and save powerful plugin chains with Waves StudioRack, the ultimate plugin chainer – including parallel processing racks, multi-band split racks, and quick access macros to create your own “custom plugins”.

Thinking in chains rather than individual processors is the hallmark of the best producers and engineers. The all-new Waves StudioRack finally puts the full power of plug-in chain creation in your hands.

With StudioRack you can build complete chains of up to 1 plug-ins from just one DAW insert and save them for quick recall. StudioRack can chain not only Waves plugins, but also VST8 plugins from other manufacturers.

Not only that, StudioRack also has powerful processing capabilities such as:

8 macros/chain.8 macros per chain: Build your own "custom plugins" by combining parameters from different plugins in a chain into quick-access macro controls. Split audio into mono, stereo, and M/S racks to add punch, space, and presence to your signal without complicated routing in your DAW.Multi-Band Split Rack: Turn any StudioRack compatible plugin (Waves or non-Waves) into a multi-band processor with detailed control over crossover points.
StudioRack stores entire chains with internal routing and can be opened in any DAW, making collaborating with producers and mixers who use different DAWs easier than ever. The ability to host VST3 plugins also means that you can freely use VST3 plugins in non-VST3 DAWs such as Logic and Pro Tools.

Summary

I didn't expect Waves' "StudioRack" to support VST3.

For those who use other DAWs, if you create an effect chain with "StudioRack", you can immediately call the effect chain in any DAW.

If Waves can be used at that time, it will be convenient, so I think that it is important to update it, but it is a drastic update.
