This is yosi from Chillout with Beats.
VCV RackI will explain in detail around Audio and Midi.
If you don't understand this area a little, you'll regret that you can do that later.

FL Studio and VCV Rack Audio settings
With FL StudioVCV RackIf you link them, you will have various questions.
Because it has a high degree of freedom
-VCV RackIs it possible to start multiple modules with?・ What if I start multiple VCV Bridges in FL Studio?・VCV RackHow to make the sound of FL Studi in Paraout?・ What if I send Midi notes separately by Ch from FL Studio?
And so on, I'm getting more and more doubtful. That's why I tried to verify in the order of this area.
Is it possible to start multiple Audio modules with VCV Rack?
The answer isIt is possible.
This question is also deeply related to "What if I launch multiple VCV Bridges in FL Studio?"
You can start multiple Audio modules with VCV Rack, and you can also start multiple VCV Bridges from FL Studio.
By separating the port numbers, you can route the sound to different VCV Bridges and para-out.
However, if you start multiple VCV Bridges, you will use a lot of CPU power.
How to get the sound of VCV Rack to FL Studio with para out?
Paraout is easy, but adding multiple Audio modules is not good for the CPU. (I think there is a tendency for noise to get on.)
The other way is, as you can see from the GUI, the Audio module has 8IN / 8OUT Input / Output by default.
This can be output in para by changing the VCV Bridge setting on the FL Studio side.
(The idea is the same as the paraout of a multitimbral sampler)
The procedure is as follows.
① Click "Detail setting" of VCV Bridge
② Click "VST Wrapper Settings"
③ Click "Processing"
④ Click "Auto map Outputs"
By using the 8 monaural inputs of the Audio module, you can para out to FL Studio for 4 stereos.
By setting the Out of the VCV Bridge to "Insert 1" of the mixer, it becomes a stereo 4 Out up to "Insert 4".
What if I send Midi notes separately by Ch from FL Studio?
If you want to send Midi notes from FL Studio on different channels, start two "Midi-1" as shown below and set them to "Channel 1" and "Channel 2".
When typing Midi notes from FL Studio, if you divide them by color as shown below, they will be divided into Channel 1 and Channel 2.
Of course, if you want to increase the number of channels, you can increase it to 16 channels by using another color.
Summary
This time it was rather plain, but I want to hit it firmly in my head.
Speaking of which, there was an article on Twitter called a beginner's guide for modular synths.
It's interesting as far as I read a little, but it's around this time that I feel that the hurdles of the actual machine are high.
(It seems that 3U will fly 2 or 3 with just the case and power supply ...)
This is the part that I was particularly interested in.
The AKAI S950 is the equipment used in most of my work and is also famous for being used in many early UK breakbeats and jungles. The resonance sweep of the AKAI S950 filter is very unique, and you can hear it in one shot. The MUM M8 used the chip used in the S950, but I added resonance control, saturation, and VCA to it.I'm happy to be able to leave some of my name in the history of Eurorack.
It seems to be a lot of fun to make it using the chips used in the AKAI S950!
I will post the video.
Aim for the rest of your life with the actual modular synth.
Oh, next time I will introduce the recommended modules.
