Introducing the plug-in blocks that allows you to easily enjoy a modular feel
Today we will be introducing blocks, a synth sound source that allows you to easily enjoy a slightly unusual modular feel.
This is a recommended sound source for those who want to learn a little about synths without using a modular, or for those who like playing with sounds.
With modular devices, it's easy to arrange them randomly and end up with no sound, or a situation where you can't control the sound.
Even if you arrange the blocks randomly, the sound will still come out, and the sound will never go out of tune or stop.
If you use many modules, the CPU load will increase considerably, so you need to be careful about that point.
Sound demo
There are no presets, but you can make sounds just by arranging the oscillators.
I made a video of how the sound is made.
First, I lined up the oscillators, lined up the filters, added reverb, and used modulation to move the filter cutoff.
It's really easy, isn't it?
It's also interesting to be able to group oscillators and assign separate MIDI inputs.

Installation
In the case of Win, when you unzip it, the VST3 file "blocks.vst3" is included, so just put it in the folder below and you're done.

Summary
I had tried blocks before, but back then it didn't have as many features as it does now, so I remember not writing about it.
Over time, the functionality has increased and it has become easier to use.
I think plug-ins like this are a great starting material for people who are trying to learn synths.
I especially like how easy it is to understand modulation.
