What about the sound?
Mastering
Don't think too hard about it, just put it on the bus and listen to it.Versatile and musical, the W495 is an easy-to-use mastering equalizer. Quickly adjust mix balance by considering three bands.Even at extreme settings, it has the ability to widen the entire soundstage without ever being too harsh.
Synth
For electronic musicians, synthesizers are often the main instrument in production.But synthesizers can be so overwhelming that finding the right spectral balance to add them to a mix can be finicky. With the Pulsar W495, you can quickly and skillfully adjust this balance while keeping CPU consumption incredibly low.
Drum
Part of the W495's sound comes from the output transformer (Haufe RK 756), which provides subtle coloration to the lower end of the spectrum, especially with dynamic sources like drum busses. The Pulsar W495 makes it easy to add body to bass drums, enhance air to cymbals, and add color (and soften if needed) to the midrange.All in record time.

The Curve Editor's controls correspond to the gain, frequency, and Q values of the hardware-style knobs below, allowing continuous selection of frequency, gain, and filter width.Keyboard modifiers allow you to quickly make the settings you need.
midside processing
Each band can be used for the entire stereo signal or can be switched to a single focus for operation: use only the Mid signal to process central information in mono, or use only the Side signal to process non-central information in stereo.
Oversampling
There are some things that can't be done with just a bell or shelf. Pulsar Audio adds a complex 6-pole tilt filter to adjust the tonal balance of your entire mix in an analog-style, natural way with a single knob.
Meter & Spectrum Analyzer
The Pulsar W495 features RMS, peak, and peak hold meters on both channels, giving you the convenience of digital insight.The spectrum analyzer can be operated in Fast or Slow mode for short- or medium-term spectrum visualization, and can also be set to Infinite mode for long-term integrated measurements.
