Overview
Velvet Machine is an audio effect based on real-time convolution with enveloping velvet noise.It is designed for the following purposes.
・ Stretch or blur short sounds to a maximum length of 10 seconds
Reverb-like texture generation (including volume envelopes such as reverse, fade in / out, pulse, etc.
-Function as a variable density random multi-tap delay (close to a granular sound)
Main functions
- Flexible volume envelope with any number of segments and curvature
- Effective time: 50ms ~ 10s
- Response density can be adjusted in the range of 1 to 2000 times / sec
- Up to 1 second pre-delay
- Time and pre-delay parameters are synchronized with the host tempo
- High-cut / low-cut filter for effect signals
- Mix can be adjusted from 100% dry to 100% wet with no dry signal
- Mix Lock function to switch presets while keeping the dry / wet mix constant
- More than 20 factory presets available
