Features

The specification established in Phoscyon 2, which provides presets for each module, is also adopted in Drumazon 2.

It is a specification that many developers would like to imitate.

Not only the drum kit, but also the sound of each drum, there are presets for SEQ, and there are quite a lot of presets.

The routing around the effect is a little special, so I'll write it down.

First, I will quote the routing diagram from the manual.

This represents one of the two BUS.

2023 09 10 02x52 44

There are two Buses, each with five effect slots.

In the diagram above, FX1 to FX5 are SLOT1 to SLOT5.

2023 09 10 02x42 59

In the routing diagram, there is an input between each FX1, but you can decide where each Drum outputs.

In the example below, "AUDIO OUT" of "BD" is "SLOT" of "BUS1" is "2", so "BD" is routed to "SLOT1" of "BUS2".
(Not routed to SLOT1)

2023 09 10 02h55 36 1

I prepared a video.

To make it easier to understand, "BD" is output from "SLOT2" of "BUS5".
(Since “SLOT5” is “REVERB”, only the reverb will be applied to the sound)

2023 09 10 03x03 35

Then, send "SLOT1" of "BUS1" from "BUS SEND".

Since it is Send, determine the amount to send with "AMOUT".

2023 09 10 03x28 17

Thanks to this routing, even though there are only two BUS, there is a wide range of sound creation possibilities.

You can apply compression, distortion, and reverb to the bass drum, but only apply reverb to the hi-hat.

Sound demo

It's a really great upgrade.

To be honest, it's so amazing that it's completely different.

First, I tried changing the preset (SCENE) and playing it.

Next, I tried changing the same presets such as "DRUM KIT" and "SEQ".

You can easily create variations.

    Hello. This is NM.
It has been a while.I come to see it every morning!

I was looking forward to DRUMAZON2!It arrived earlier than I expected. I guess they were trying to release it in time for 909day.

This is also typical of the recent D16, so it's already something different. With this and PHOSCYON2, I was playing like a DJ for an hour in the morning.
The thought of Arturia coming with this makes me scared of my BF (in terms of wallet).

Recently, all the manufacturers have been looking good, so I'm happy, but my wallet is a pain (actually, I ended up buying Synthanthology 4, which was also good).

      Long time no see!

      Thank you!

      DRUMAZON2 is good!
Version 1 is good for people who like 909, but I don't think it was much more than that.
However, DRUMAZON2 is a plugin that can reach a wide range of users!
And it's great when used with PHOSCYON2.

I haven't tried it yet, but MIDI Map seems easy to use, and I think it will be easy to output patterns to other drum sound sources.

The recent D16 is the best.

As for Arturia, he hasn't released much drum sound sources, so I can't predict what he'll do in the future.
I think it was clearly a release of the previous Spark. (This is not included in V Collection)
If I were to release a sound source around 808 and 909 from now on, I would think that it would be a hybrid sound source that could use both.

Recently, all the manufacturers have been looking good, so I'm happy, but my wallet is a pain (actually, I ended up buying Synthanthology 4, which was also good).

While it's really fun, it's also expensive.
      So you purchased Synthanthology4!
UVI's sound source is basically a sampling, so it's good that it has a different quality than an emu.
I'm also concerned about this, but I've decided to postpone it due to the recent impact of the weaker yen...

I have to prepare for BF soon!
