Overloud has released a free IR library, Blackstar Recording Studio.
Blackstar Recording Studio can be used with Overloud's exclusive IR player REmatrix Player (free).
I tried to ring it.
Also, REmatrix Player has no latency.
Since REmatrix Player is exclusively for the IR library released by Overloud, you cannot add your own IR.
This IR library is created by MoReVoX.
Overview
Blackstar Recording Studio in Milan is a studio with a lot of Vintage equipment.The main recording room and all studio rooms are carefully sampled by Valerio Mina with multiple mic setups to capture all nuances and sound perspectives, using a total of 40 IRs.
I auditioned all the rooms. (Toilet too !?)
I'm shooting seven spaces with multiple microphone configurations.
- Main room: 25IR
- Control room: 4IR
- Booth, Sound Rock: 3IR
- Machine room: 1 ir
- Living room: 4IR
- Bathroom: 2IR
- Sicilian Reverb: 1 IR
Download
You do not need to register to download, but you need to create an account to use it.
First, download "REmatrix Player".
Transition from the above link and scroll to the bottom of the screen.
Download the file of the target OS.
Then download the Blackstar Studio library.
Click "5. Download the Blackstar Studio library" on the same page as before.
If you don't have Overloud's accountPlease create.
(Maybe most people have Gem Mod for free, so I think they have it)
Installation of "REmatrix Player"
You can select the format to install by selecting "Custom" in the middle of the installation, but if you are not sure about that, you can install by default.
Additional libraries
I happened to discover an additional library called "Post Pro Gold"!
Originally I think that it is provided free of charge for paid library purchasers, but I was able to add it to "REmatrix Player".
It is possible that you may have decided whether or not to add it by looking at the license, so I'm sorry if you couldn't add it. (I couldn't judge because I own a paid library)
Library installation
When you start "REmatrix Player", you will be asked for your user name and password, so enter them.
Drag and drop the "Blackstar + Studio.rematrix" file you downloaded earlier to "REmatrix Player".
This completes the library installation.
"BLACK STAR" is added.
(The figure below shows the state where the paid library of RELIVE is added)
Summary
It's a pretty natural and good reverb.
Moreover, it was a big harvest to discover the additional library.
Speaking of which, I should have remembered the story of using Gem Mod after reverb in the following video I saw before and tried it.

I felt that it filled the space and put it together neatly.
