Introducing MIDI VSTi gen999 with 2 arpeggio patterns built-in (Win only)

The version of the arpeggiator plug-in that I have introduced before has been upgraded, so I will introduce it again.

999 is a plug-in that can be used as various arpeggiator by playing chords.
(Since the 999 alone does not produce sound, it is necessary to prepare another sound source.)

The main changes are the new parameters "ply" and "speed".

If you change "ply", the pattern that sounds will change, but even if you change the three-digit number, the pattern will change, so the difference is unknown.

For the time being, "ply" means diversity (ply), so I think it's a different variation.

“speed” is the speed at which the sound is played, in the same way as the delay time.

If it is 1/4, the arpeggiator will sound every quarter.

Sound demo

I feel that the timing has become looser than before, for better or worse.
(I wonder if it's just my imagination)

I tried playing the preset.

Overview

The next generation of the 999's rhythmic MIDI arpeggiator.

The 999gen2VSTi doesn't make any sound and triggers other VSTi's open in the DAW.Each arpeggio can have a unique speed, note length, octave range and variety (ply). You can also switch between arpeggios with your MIDI keyboard or randomize arpeggios in your live session.Arpeggios are always synced to your DAW's BPM and denominator, so you'll always get auto-placed results.

Download

Downloading can be done without registration.

You can download it by transitioning from the above link and clicking "Download 999gen2".

The link below is preliminary, so if you can't download it with "Download 999gen2" above, download it from the "additional link" below.

Installation

The installation is slightly unusual.

First of all, the answer is that the installer and DLL are included.

First, run the installer (999gen2 Installer.exe) to create a system folder.

It is unpleasant that the installation path is directly under C, so I think it is better to specify it again under "Program Files" as shown in the figure below.

Others are fine by default.

All you have to do is store the DLL (999gen2 (64).dll) in the VST folder.

Since MUJI (999gen2.dll) is 32bit, it is basically not used.

Most VST2 folders are one of the following:

C:Program FilesVSTPlugIns
C \ Program Files \ Steinberg \ VST Plugins
C \ Program Files \ Steinberg \ Cubase \ VSTPlugins
C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ VST2
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\VST2

Summary

It used to be possible to switch keys with MIDI, but that function seems to have disappeared.

It can be done by automation, so if you say you don't need it, you don't need it.

Also, I added a bit of portamento to the Mono synth and sped up 999gen2, and it sounded pretty interesting.
