About Philips PMC 100
The Philips PMC 100 was one of the early home music computers released by Philips in the late 1980s. The device was designed as a personal computer with music production capabilities and was specifically targeted at music lovers and novice music producers. The PMC 100 featured a built-in musical keyboard, a programmable drum machine, and a variety of music production tools.
This computer utilized specific music production software that allowed users to create, edit, and perform their own music. Music could be played through built-in speakers or an external sound system, and some models also had the ability to record to cassette tape.
The PMC 100 was a product long before the advent of modern digital audio workstations (DAWs) and music production software, and it had many advanced features for its time. Installation
