Introducing Bontempi Memoplay 80, which samples 26s toy keyboards that can be used with Decent Sampler.
Today we would like to introduce the sound source "Bontempi Memoplay 1981", which David sampled from the Bontempi Memoplay manufactured in 26 by the Italian company Bontempi.
This is a sound source for Decent Sampler.
Please check out the official video*.
As always, David reveals the process from purchasing the sound source to sampling, which is very interesting.
*Located in the overview.
patronWe are also looking for patrons, and if you become a patron ($5/month), you can download the sound source of the patron version (with additional sounds).
Sound demo
There are two presets.
One is a tone that is simply sampled from the output from the headphone jack and the output from the speaker, and the other is a tone that is sampled with external effects applied.
I tried to ring it.
I edited it a little.
It's a good idea to shorten the release, make it feel like a pluck, and add a delay.
Delay was on sale until the other dayTD-201I tried using.
Overview
The Bontempi Memoplay 26 is an extremely basic toy organ released in 1981. The sound consisted of a simple, slightly glitchy pulse wave! As usual around here, we've added a lot of features not found on real keyboards: envelope, reverb, chorus, and tone controls.
