Introducing Daniel Gergely's Granular Effects Plugin Emergence
Today I would like to introduce Daniel Gergely's granular effect plug-in Emergence.
Full version of Emergence ($20+)has been released the other day, and its functions have been considerably enhanced, so if you like granular, please check it out.
The prototype can still be downloaded for free, so I will introduce it there.
Sound demo
It is possible to create a sound that ignores the prototype, and you can also use it to partially add glitches by mixing it with Dry.
With the LFO and randomize functions, you can create aggressive sounds.
Since the volume difference is large, it is easy to handle by applying OTT.
I added effects and drums.
After EmergenceGatekeeperI'm forced to add a sense of rhythm.
(Because Emergence itself does not synchronize BPM)
Overview
Emergence is the observation that an entity possesses properties that its parts do not have in isolation, that is, properties and behaviors that emerge only when they interact with the wider whole.
This plugin is a real-time granulator.Records the input signal continuously into a buffer. The contents of the buffer are played back as many short sound fragments called grains. Four streams can generate up to 4 grains, each with parameters controlling grain generation.
The sound of one grain is not so interesting. The most exciting things happen when hundreds of grains play on top of each other: complex delay patterns, strange noises, beautiful layered soundscapes.
Features
Up to 600 grains (depends on CPU)
4 grain generation streams with independent parameters
Modulation system with LFOs, macros and parameter randomization
High quality grain pitch transposition (±24 semitones).
