Installation

For Win, unzip the downloaded file and it will contain "BFD Player – Software & Core Library Installer.exe", so run it.

Basically, just click "Next" or check the checkbox to proceed.

It only supports standalone and VST2, so be careful when setting the path.

The default is "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\VST2".

Most VST2 folders are one of the following:

Authorize

When you start it, the following screen will be displayed, so click "Log in to profile".

A login screen will be displayed, so if you have an account, log in.

If you do not have one, please create one from "CREATE ACCOUNT".

Once you have logged in, a screen like the one below will be displayed and you will be able to use it when you return to your DAW.

When you return to BFD Player, the following screen will be displayed, but you can select "Maybe Later".
(The other one just goes to the BFD Player site.)

Summary

It's great that this quality is free.

However, I think it's strange that it asks for an account every time I start it.

This is something I would like to see improved, as it significantly reduces convenience.
