Today I would like to introduce AuburnSounds' Gate plug-in Renegate.
I was a little despised.
Gate is freekHs GateI thought there would be nothing better than Renegate, but Renegate is amazing.
It is a limited version of the paid version, but the only functions of the paid version are the red frame in the image below.
Specifically, features like gain reduction methods, oversampling, and a Raw knob that adds digital grit.
The built-in sequencer was previously only included in the paid version, but with version 1.4 it can now be used in the free version as well.
The free version is also well-developed and is a really great developer.
Furthermore, FULL is APD.On Sale $38.67>$12.99.
This price is amazing for this quality.

It is common for free Gates to come with attack and release functions, but it is rare to find a free Gate that is so easy to use and can be configured in such detail. (I think it's hard to find even if it's paid)
I hung it on the drum.
It's graphical and extremely easy to use.
It also has a sequencer.
Gate can also be controlled via MIDI.

Renegate is a full band gate plug-in from Auburn Sounds that features program-dependent hysteresis, look-ahead functionality, automatic release, and envelope detection with a psychoacoustic model for natural-sounding results. The free version includes these advanced features, while the full version adds gain reduction methods, oversampling, a built-in sequencer, a Raw knob to add digital grit, and more. It is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux, and can be used as a VST3/VST2/AAX/AU/LV2 plug-in.

Installation
Unzip the downloaded file and run the installer.
Most people will be fine with just installing VST3.
FL Studio users can check "FLStudio plug-in" to use it like a native plug-in of FLStudio.
The advantage is that you can use modulation sources for FLStudio plug-ins such as "Fruity peak controller".
However, I feel that "Fruity peak controller" etc. are not useful for this plug-in.
Therefore, I think that only VST3 is sufficient.
