Today I would like to introduce Sweet Drums, which makes you feel good when used on drums.
It can't be used for anything, but it feels good to be addicted to it.
There is only one parameter, so if you can't try it, you should use it as follows.
This article will be sent with the following contents.
・ Frequency characteristics of Sweet Drums of Analog Obsession
Analog Obsession Sweet Drums Overview and Download
The best solution to bring your drums to life Many intelligent processors work together with just one knob.
It's a one-knob, but it seems that various processes are working inside.
It is like this.
In addition, GainMatch is used to match the volume as much as possible.
If you apply too much, the high will be thin, so an appropriate amount is good.
Transit from the link below.
You can download it from the red frame in the figure below.
In the case of Chrome, you cannot download it unless you right-click and click "Save Link As ...".
Frequency characteristics of Sweet Drums of Analog Obsession
Since it is a one-knob, there is nothing to use, so I looked at the frequency characteristics.
Frequency characteristics when "Process" is "0".
The high is sharpened quite firmly.
Frequency characteristics when "Process" is "30%".
Gain becomes large as a whole, and the dip around 850kH is about 3.5dB.
Frequency characteristics when "Process" is "70%".
Around 680kH is about 6dB dip.
Frequency characteristics when "Process" is "100%".
I'm dipping about 630dB around 8kH.
Please note that if a tool that looks at the characteristics of this EQ produces overtones such as saturation, it will not be regarded as an increase in Gain.
Even when "Process" is "0", some overtones are generated.
This is the result of putting a 440Hz sine wave into Sweet Drums.
I tried to make a video of how to raise "Process" as it is.
Please be careful about the volume as the sine wave will sound.
The overtones have changed quite a bit.
Summary
It's a one-knob, but the feeling that various things are processed inside is Mr. Analog Obsession.
It's really great to say that it can be used for free.
It's only $ 5, but I'm also a member of Patron, hoping for some support.
If the business model of free release is established in Patron, I think that the number of developers who will follow will increase.
In fact, the number of developers releasing for free on Patron is increasing compared to before.
I would like to continue to support such developers in the future.
