Introducing "VST Speek" that reproduces Commodore 64's SAM Vocal synthesis (Win only)
Today I would like to introduce VST Speek, which is an old plug-in and is only available on Win, but it reproduces the Commodore 64's SAM Vocal synthesis.
It's a speech synth, and it used to be included in Mac, Win, and FL Studio, but it's no longer available.
I think it was originally intended for visually impaired people, but now that there are natural reading software, I think it is no longer necessary.

The operation is easy; just input the word and press the "SPEAK!" button to pronounce it.
If you use the piano roll, you can change the pitch and pronounce it.
However, please note that this is not the correct pitch.
Although it only supports alphabets, it will pronounce it even if you enter it randomly.
When I put it into Loopmix and added drums and bass, it looked like this.

VST Speek text to speech is 100% freeware and the plugin is based on the vocal synthesis software SAM (Software Automatic Mouth) created for the Commodore 64 by Softvoice Inc.

I made this into a VST plugin:
You can trigger speech with a MIDI keyboard (velocity sensitive).
MIDI pitch bend can be used.
You can change the original pitch and mouth and throat parameters while speaking.
This is not a vocal synth like “Vocaloïd”, but for creating crunchy robotic lo-fi techno voices!

Installation
Once unzipped, put "VstSpeek64.dll" in the "3bit" folder into VST2 (64bit) and you're done.
Since it is VST2, the path will differ depending on the person.
Most VST2 folders are one of the following:

Summary
I looked into whether there was a free speech synth plug-in, and found one that was better than I expected.
With FLStudio, it is easier to work by recording into Edison and then putting it into Slicex or Loopmix.
