Overview
Derailer uses a physical model of three basic elements: strings, metal rods, and nonlinear springs to connect the rods together.This modeling is done using the finite difference time domain approximation of the differential equations and is calculated in real time to produce the sound.This model has a driver part that plays strings and bows, a pitched bar, a sawtooth wave, his striker using a striker, and a resonator part consisting of 3 bars and 5 springs, from the driver.
