There are many possible approaches to creating a new instrument.At Parallels, we focus on two main things.First, achieve great sound with minimal effort.And second, inspire artists with elegant workflows, great layout and visual feedback, and endless possibilities.

Most of the first point is the source material.At the heart of Parallels are nearly 100 high-quality pre-recorded multi-waveforms.These are also from classic synths, digital and analog, hardwired and modular, FM and Phys mods, and sources combined with the environment.It also includes super rare and unpublished works.

Each waveform has some sort of progression, such as filter sweep or pitch diffusion, within a duration of 15 seconds, allowing the artist to start playing from any point of choice, almost even at the source. Provides endless sound.The playback method can be described as a wave scan with a loop length pre-tuned for each source to achieve the best possible sound.The artist can choose how far the playhead will move in the source scene, how fast it will move, then return to the starting point and settle in the sustain loop.All of this can be done up to 14 voices at a time.
