Smasher is a comp that reproduces the state where all the ratios of 1176 are pressed.

Overview
Pulsar Smasher is an unprecedented custom modification of the 1176 compressor circuit, which I happened to find when tweaking other algorithms.
The original 1176 compressor has four selectable ratios.However, you can press all four buttons at the same time.This is called "all button mode" or "UK mode".Perhaps an unexpected feature, this mode is very popular due to its distorted, explosive, highly compressed sound.Think of it as something between the compressor and saturation.
This change adds a definition to the transients, while remaining very close to the original circuit, making the overall tone more aggressive.Obviously not versatile, this effect is especially useful for enhancing the mood of a drum bass, but it can also have many other creative uses.
The typical effect of Smasher is the raw, gritty sound of bands such as Vulfpeck, The Whitefield Brothers, and The Black Keys.
