[Free] Introducing the patch IN SPECTOR of Patcher recommended for FL Studio users
I'm yosi, the administrator of Chillout with Beats.
Frank distributes a patcher patch called INSPECTOR for free.
What INSPECTOR is is a patcher patch that imitates the frequency characteristics of various playback devices and a simple confirmation tool.
(The inside is just imitating the frequency with EQ, not IR)
Audited OfMixCheckerIt's like a simplified version of.
Please see the following video for details.
You need to subscribe to the YouTube channel to download.
Explanation of INSPECTOR
I think you can understand how to use it by watching the YouTube video, so I would like to explain the inside.
The mechanism itself is simple.
However, since it is packed with such functions, it is quite troublesome to actually make it.
(Because Patcher is not a suitable structure for doing very complicated things)
I will go in order. (Easy to fold on the way)
Width
Although it is the knob part, the content is "Fruity Stereo Enhancer".
What I'm doing is "Stereo Separation knobIs just moving.
Move it toward "+" to increase Side, and move it toward "-" to increase Mid.
Mono / Side / Invert / Swap / L Solo / R Solo
This is also simple, using "Fruity Stereo Shaper" to switch Mid, Side, and Invert with "Fruity Balance".
"Swap", "L Solo", and "R Solo" are all "Fruity Stereo Shaper".
All can be preset.
Yamaha NS10 ~ Earbuds
It seems that all of this area uses "Fruity parametric EQ 2" to imitate the frequency characteristics.
Maybe,Sonarworks Reference 4,ARC System 3I think that it imitates the frequency characteristics from the above.
I'm using two EQs because one EQ doesn't have enough points.
With NS10, it looks like the following.
Actually, it was like this when measured with pink noise.
Audited OfMixCheckerSeems to be using IR as far as I read the explanation.
Outside the Club
Only this is good because it has originality.
It is a reproduction of the sound leaked outside the club or live house.
(It seems that this can be used as an effect)
So, the contents are connected with "Fruity Stereo Enhancer"-> "Fruity Multiband Compressor"-> "Fruity Reeverb 2"-> "Fruity parametric EQ 2".
In "Fruity Stereo Enhancer", the "Stereo Separation" knob is moved a little to "-" to get closer to the thing, and L is delayed a little to tilt the sound to the right.
(Maybe it's a process to give the feeling of ringing next to you.)
In "Fruity Multiband Compressor", only Low Band is enabled and only bass is output.
In "Fruity Reeverb 2", the smallest size reverb gives a feeling of room noise.
Finally, I think that the EQ for emphasizing the bass is cutting the midrange that could not be cut by the "Fruity Multiband Compressor" for the 4 points.

It's interesting to look at the contents of Patcher and analyze it.
Frank will release other free patches from time to time, so I'd like to write another article.
