Introducing Klanghelm's pulling reverb plugin TENS JR.
Klanghelm has released a new spring reverb.
I think it's an AKG BX20 emulator.
There are paid and free versions.
Paid versionTENS is 24 euros.
Sound demo
I tried playing it with a guitar loop.
Although it is a number ring reverb, it is a beautiful reverb similar to a plate reverb.
In fact, for better or worse, it doesn't produce that unique spring reverb sound.
Overview
TENS jr. is the younger brother of Studio Spring Reverb TENS.
Equipped with TENS model 5 – tank A.The reverb characteristics are expanded compared to units from the late 70's and early 80's.So one tank is now stereo and the decay time range has been extended from 1 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
The reverb character can be changed significantly with the associated horizontal fader.
In contrast to the classic spring reverbs found in guitar amps, organs, and some synths, TENS jr. has a very high reverb density, a fast onset, and very little "boo" artifacts, so you can almost hear it. It will sound like a plate.
