ImageLine's FL Studio 20.7.1 released
I'm yosi, the caretaker.
FLStudio 20.7.1 has been released.
It's a maintenance release, but some new features have been added.
We will also explain the new features that have been added.
Update contents
- Newtime,Newtone – Added tempo display and tempo sync buttons on toolbar Added "Use project time on load" option to improve workflow.
- Tools (menu)> Macros > Remove all Edison instances – Delete all Edison instances to reduce the size of the archived project.
- FLEX – Added Ctrl + Up,Down – Keyboard shortcuts for loading previous and next presets directly.
- ZGE Visualizer – Added parameters to the "Mobius Object" effect.Drop a wave file with a marker to import the list of video cues.Reduce video memory usage and improve the performance of complex presets.Drop a sliced audio file into the video cue section and the cue will be added automatically.Clicking on a video cue in the video cue list now triggers that cue. Completely transparent layers are now skipped to save CPU.
- Speech synthesis – Focus on text editing in the audio dialog when the window is visible.
- Mixer – The root of the mixer track has been removed to display a warning message if the plug-in was sending.
- DirectWave – Improved plugin loading time when the editor window is not visible.
- FL Studio Mobile – Updated to V3.3.2 with new tuners and auto-pitch modules.
The following two will omit detailed explanations.
- MIDI Scripting – Added widPlugin option to ui.GetFocused function which added automatic detection function of python device.Added mixer.isTrackMuted and mixer.muteTrack with receiver port number acquisition function. Added optional parameters to device.midiOutMessage. Added optional parameters to transport.setSongPos and added optional value parameters to ui up / left / down / right.Added a pattern selection function, added a'ui.setFocused' function, and prevented the MIDI sync indicator from turning orange when an event was processed.You can now set the state defined in the script.
- Help> About panel– Display “All plugins bundle” in the version information window.
Newtime, Newtone
Added tempo display and tempo sync buttons on toolbar Added "Use project time on load" option to improve workflow.
If you right-click in the red frame in the above figure, the following dialog will be displayed and you can specify the BPM.
Tools (menu)> Macros> Remove all Edison instances
Delete all Edison instances to reduce the size of the archived project.
This macro will remove all Edison.
Please note that you cannot undo.
Since Undo is possible using Edison, it seems that an archive is created and the project file becomes large. (Especially if you leave it in the mixer as it is after making various changes)
FLEX
Added Ctrl + Up,Down – Keyboard shortcuts for loading previous and next presets directly.
From before, moving presets above and below the keyboard Enter I was able to load presets with the keys, but now I can use Ctrl to load them without pressing the Enter key.
Originally, it is convenient to be able to select the category with the keyboard.
ZGE Visualizer

I can't use ZGE Visualizer at all, probably because the GPU is onboard.
I can't confirm it, so I'll skip it.
Speech synthesis
Focus on text editing in the audio dialog when the window is displayed.
I don't know how this change was made, but when the Speech synth window is displayed, it seems that the text input part is always in focus.
In the video below, I tried typing on the keyboard while clicking on the Speech synth keyboard.
(That's why it feels like)
Mixer
The root of the mixer track has been removed to display a warning message if the plug-in was sending.
I couldn't reproduce it.
DirectWave
Improved the loading time of the plugin when the editor window is not displayed.
I measured it, but I didn't feel any significant change.
FL Studio Mobile
Updated to V3.3.2 with new tuners and auto-pitch modules.
Certainly it was up to V3.3.2.
"Tuner" and "Auto-Pitch" have been added by adding effects.
Tuner
A simple design is fine.
It would be convenient if this could be used normally from the FL Studio side as well.
Auto-pitch
It's usually better than Pitcher, but ...
I took a little video.
With Pitcher, you can't change the pitch itself without using MIDI.
Moreover, it is easy to use with a simple GUI ...
I hope that Fx around here can be used normally in the future.
However, I didn't use it at all, but I was surprised that FL Studio Mobile was excellent.
