I've backed £ 50 back on the Ascension Synthesizer project I wrote the other day.

The process of launching KickStarter is as follows.

This synth uses a lot of hardware synth samples from the early 80's to the present in my studio.It also has a single cycle wave and a subtractive oscillator, which sets it apart from a mere rom puller.

Even if hundreds of synths are sold, it means that you will only be paid a few pounds (GBP) or US dollars (USD) for each synth sold.

The monthly development cost is very high at £ 1 and my company has very little money.Since I don't write C ++ myself, I have to pay the developers, and of course there are many other costs such as accounting and subscription services.

I'm currently testing and fixing bugs in version 1.5.1, which fixes all known issues from version 1.5.

I want to take this synth further and make it a complete "finished product" that users will enjoy for years.

With many users requesting features (many of which are great ideas), it may take some development near the end of the year to reach version 1.6.If all current users donate £ 1 I can continue, but the Personal Information Protection Act prevents me from sending email to most Ascension users.

It's just a guess, but I think 1.5.1 will be a free update and 1.6 will be charged.
