Introducing Arthelion's MOLOSS II Hybrid Synth Sound
Today I would like to introduce MOLOSS II, an open source hybrid synthesizer.
Originally there was MOLOSS, and it seems that it became version 2.
It's a pity that you can't change the basic GUI size, but you can scroll by reducing the frame.
Sound demo
You have to load the presets yourself.
Prepare your own folder for presets or put them in the VST2 folder so you don't get lost.
Presets can be loaded from "Load sound" on the upper left of the screen.
I tried playing the preset.
The sound is quite good.
Editing is a little troublesome because each voice has a module such as VCF and VCA, but if you have the Link function and align the upper left numbers, modules with the same number will work the same.

Overview
MOLOSS (Multi Oscillator Linear Open Source Synthesizer) is a virtual synth available as a VST plugin or standalone exe that combines several techniques used in the 80's to build analog vintage sounds.
By mixing subtractive synthesis, additive synthesis, frequency (or phase) modulation, and cross modulation in four voices, a very wide sound range can be achieved with a light CPU load.
The default polyphony is 16 notes and there are two mono “solo” modes.
Many parameters can be modulated with a MIDI controller for maximum expressiveness in live performances.
It has full built-in file-based preset management that responds to MIDI program change messages.

Go to the above link and click "DOWNLOAD" to start downloading.
Installation
Unzip the downloaded file and put the "Moloss II" folder* and "MOLOSS II.dll" in the VST2 folder.
VST2 has a different path depending on the person.
Most VST2 folders are one of the following:
C:Program FilesVSTPlugIns
C \ Program Files \ Steinberg \ VST Plugins
C \ Program Files \ Steinberg \ Cubase \ VSTPlugins
C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ VST2
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\VST2
*Since presets are in the "Moloss II" folder, those who collect presets can put them there.
Summary
It's only VST2 and standalone version, but I was surprised at how good the sound was.
Quick editing is also possible with the link function.
Since it is open source, I am looking forward to its future evolution.
