UAD's plug-ins originally required DSP (hardware), but some of them now work as normal plug-ins.
I bought a Studer A800 Tape Recorder when it was only compatible with DSP, but I never thought the day would come when it would be this expensive. (When I bought it, three of my favorite plugins were on sale for $3, so each one costs about $299.)

Sound demo
It goes very well with drums.
I played a drum preset.
I tried inserting it into the guitar and drum mix bus.
Regarding the parameter, IPS is the tape speed (inches per second).
The key is how many inches it travels in one second.
(1 inch is 25.4 mm)
The faster the speed, the higher the sound.
I made a video of the frequency characteristics. (no sound)
7.5 seems to be suitable for Lo-Fi.
