To be honest, I prefer version XNUMX for the overall balance, but version XNUMX is better for Sachu's feeling.

Overview

Saturation/Dynamics/EQ

The Goliath V2 features four analog modeling processing chains: alloy (nickel, iron, steel) based transformers, TUBE, TAPE, VINYL, drive controls, FET-based envelopes, and 3-band EQ.

It's a revolutionary analog sound tool.Enjoy the amazing sound.

What's New?

Goliath, Tone Empire's top-selling plug-in, is back with a whole new look, with a whole new sound engine and new features.

This plug-in has four saturation models: Alloy, Tube, Tape, and Vinyl with Drive. Tone Empire uses an advanced DSP model with unique “Multi Convolution” and component modeling techniques to simulate a realistic hardware chain of analog equipment.Furthermore, the full FET compressor, the 4-band EQ and the low cut filter are carried in the envelope section.

With these engines, the Goliath V2 has become a channel strip with great sound and versatile sound processing.

If you love the "goodness" of vintage analogs, Goliath V2 is for you.

Analog Modeled Processing Chain Section

To develop Tone Empire's fantastic and realistic analog chain, Tone Empire used Tone Empire's unique "multi-convolution" & component modeling technology to use multiple samples to hit gear at different levels. ..
So you can actually get the "real" sound of your gear!

The signal chain of Goliath V2 is as follows.Low-cut EQ> Analog processing selector (4 selections)> ENVELOPE section> EQ section.

Analog Processing:

ALLOY

An analog processing chain featuring the famous British 1081 sound, taking advantage of the characteristics of nickel, iron, and steel transformers.

You can enjoy clean and silky analog processing.

TUBE

The tube chain is modeled using a modern / classic valve processing chain and AIR circuitry. An instantly pleasing sound that brings second harmonics to the material.

TAPE

Here, the ATR-700 tape recorder is used at 15ps to reproduce the warmth and compression of the tape. You can immediately see that the transients are warmed up and the third harmonics are saturated.

VINYL

In this work, an analog mastering chain via Neumann's cutting machine and multiple IRs sampled from dubplate are installed. Finally, you can make your record sound like a "record".

More Features: More Features:

  • DRIVE control. This control can "drive" the analog chain selected for each saturation characteristic. The levels remain the same, so you don't have to keep reaching for output controls. From the light touch of an analog chain, you can bang the signal for a fully driven saturation.

  • Env-EQ MIX: This control is used to adjust Envelope and EQ usage by parallel mixing signals from the analog chain before the Env-EQ section. It acts like a dry / wet control for the ENV-EQ.

  • OUTPUT control. You can control the gain of the final output of processing from -inf to + 10DB.This is useful if you have a lot of compression and you need to boost the signal at the end, or if you want to cut back the level.

Envelope Section:

ON / OFF switch. An on / off switch for the envelope section.

The envelope section features a 1176-style FET compressor with threshold control and fixed ratio, attack time, and release time controls.Attacks, releases and ratios have been carefully selected to apply to a variety of materials. No matter what you throw at this compressor, from drums to piano to vocals, you can control the sound lightly or grab it aggressively.

  • Threshold: Controls the threshold for the envelope to work.
  • Attack: Attack: Preprogram fixed attack time from Fast to Slow.
  • Release: The fixed release time from high speed to low speed is pre-programmed.
  • Ratio: Fixed ratio from 2: 1 to “ALL Buttons In” (smash ratio).

EQ Section:

  • Low Cut Filter: 20Hz-60Hz primary low-cut filter.
  • Low EQ: With the peak filter Eq set to 65Hz, the low frequencies are boosted or cut by +/- 10DB.
  • Mid EQ: The peak filter Eq is set to 1.5KHz and boosts or cuts the midrange with +/- 10DB.
  • High EQ: Set the peak filter Eq to 15 kHz and boost or cut the high frequencies with +/- 10 DB.
