The CPU load was 5% with AMD Ryzen 5600 8G and 8 voice poly.
There are over 500 presets divided into categories.
A preset browser is also installed, and you can also register your favorites.

Individual timbral controls are perhaps Obsession's most important feature: each voice board sounds distinctly different from the others in a variety of ways, creating the organic, lively sound that vintage analog polysynths are famous for. You can create a mellow sound.
For example, turning the Cutoff Frequency trim pot to the left will make that voice's Cutoff Frequency lower than average, turning it to the right will make it higher than average.
Similarly, turning the Amp Release trimpot to the left will slightly shorten the release time for that particular voice, and turning the trimpot to the right will lengthen the release time.
Obsession also has additional parameters like oscillator and filter scaling found in the actual hardware voiceboard.
Obsession's back panel gives you access to a high-quality effects section, modulation matrix and LFO Steps control.
A high-quality reverb coded by Mirko Ruta with an added Shimmer effect that takes pads, leads and asmospherics to new heights.
A stereo delay or chorus/ensemble effect can be applied to further enhance the output.
Fluctuations due to temperature can be simulated with the novel “Organic” knob, taking expressiveness and sound quality to new levels.
To greatly enhance Obsession's modulation capabilities, the powerful LFO Steps control lets you add tempo-synced, rhythmic modulation to almost any sound parameter.
Freehand drawing is also possible to create arbitrary LFO shapes.
