A little disappointing is that there is no Mix parameter, so parallel compression is not possible.
Normally, there is no latency, so you can mix on the DAW side, but if you use pre-parameters (look ahead), latency will occur, so be careful.
I compared it with "FirComp".
"FirComp" has an impression close to the tone of the original sound, but the bass is thin.
On the other hand, "MXComp" changes the tone of the bass quite a bit and has a punch.
I think this is the right person in the right place, so I think it's good to have both.

Installation
Since it is only VST2 version, the installation folder is slightly different depending on the person.
Put the extracted "mx_comp.dll" into your own VST2 folder.

Summary
Mr. Liuanlin-mx is very nice.
There are tons of free comps out there, but "MXComp" really sets it apart.
The developer is looking forward to the next plug-in.
