Introducing AUDIOGRAM, an app from Digitalbrain Instruments that allows you to easily know the audible range

Today, I would like to introduce AUDIOGRAM, an application that allows you to know the audible range of DigitalbrainInstruments.

Actually, I changed the planned article in a hurry, so it's a breather.

It's good to know roughly how far you can hear yourself, so give it a try.

I was 16kh and felt sad.

Separate download links are displayed for Mac and Win, so download the applicable one

Installation

It is an application that does not require installation.

For Win, you can use it immediately by executing "Audiogram.exe" in the folder.

Easy to use

Once activated, press the space key to play the sweep, and press the space key again when you can't hear it anymore.

The frequency at the bottom right is the frequency when it stops, and it is a guideline that you can hear up to here (you can not hear any more).

"TEST MODE" allows you to sound both or only one of the left and right.

Also, by increasing the "FROM", the sweep start position will be higher, so it will be played back slowly, making it possible to clarify at what point the sound stops being heard. (I think 10000 is good)

Summary

I think that there are parts where the volume feels low (loud) in the middle of the sweep, but hearingNon-linearI think it happens because of

However, personally, I have a feeling that it leans to the left around 1.1kHz, so it may be that the right ear doesn't hear around 1.1kH.

Please take a look at the left and right perspectives.
