Overview

Anaglyph is part of an ongoing research effort into the perception and technical capabilities of binaural rendering. This audio plug-in was designed to support ongoing research efforts, as well as to make this research work accessible to audio engineers working in a DAW environment. Anaglyph has features such as a personalizable morphological ITD model, near-field ILD correction and HRTF disparity selection, a localization enhancer, an externalization booster, and multi-HRTF support with the SOFA file format.

HRTF personalization
Binaural rendering parameters can be customized to suit the listener. Choose the HRTF profile that best suits your morphology and improve your overall localization. Adjust rendering based on head diameter to improve lateral localization.

Near field enhancement
Enhanced rendering function that improves the sense of distance for nearby sound source locations. Parallax correction selects HRIR locations based on the actual direction of arrival of sound objects as seen by each ear, rather than using a head-centered coordinate system. ILD correction changes the left and right ear levels as a function of frequency, taking into account the head shadowing effects of nearby sound objects. ILD correction is primarily applied to the contralateral (contralateral) ear to maintain the volume of the ipsilateral (near) ear.

external sound booster
When playing sound through headphones, the sound may seem to be very close to or even inside the listener's head. This usually doesn't happen when listening to studio monitor speakers. This module adds subtle acoustic cues for acoustically controlled studio playback systems and improves externalization. Do not confuse it with the reverberation plugin. Gain, EQ and spatial resolution (Ambisonic order) can be adjusted to optimize externalization

stabilization enhancer
For non-tracking binaural rendering, static source positions can be difficult to localize correctly, and sources in certain areas are often confused between front and back. To reduce such confusion and stabilize the perceived position of a sound object, the actual rendered position is slightly changed, providing the brain with "added redundancy" of localization cues and reducing localization confusion. Installation

If the CPU reaches 100% when you start, turn on Use fixed size buffers.
