Overview

Is XNotch too normal for you? Here we do.

XRegion consists of bandpass like XBandpass, and if you set the First and Last controls to the same, it will behave more and more like a maniac bandpass.

First, go into the First bandpass and distort it before filtering (I've found that glitching out these filters makes the results too predictable). It then passes through each successive bandpass (up to 5), each step by step towards the Last frequency setting. We cover an area and expand our response.

However, it is distorted every time.

In other words, if First is a higher frequency than Last, you will get a gradually lower pitch bandpass, with a thicker, roaring, rich tone. But if Last has a higher pitch than First ... you're starting with bass distortion and filtering the sound to leave only the distortion. Also, the wider the control spacing, the more gain you can use.

So basically this is a raw industrial mayhem. If you use this in uLaw, the results will be even worse.Theoretically, you can use this to get a very strong bandpass effect, for example distorting the snare, and carefully control the gain and "Nuke" (less "Nuke" will give the bandpass It will be less and will not go completely towards "Last").But not only that, you can also use highly distorted effects like Filter Sweep to create something you've never heard of before. But in theory, it should be as good as the X Bandpass (do not spread First and Last too wide, too high or too low to get smooth distortion, and balance with Dry / Wet. Take).
